Elements of Art is located in Glens Falls, New York at the corner of Lawrence and Cooper Streets.
It is directly across the street from the Post Star offices on Lawrence Street. Please use the Cooper Strret entrance
to get to our shop on the first floor.
This is the site of

an historic building and also the location
for many local artist studios. This large 3 story brick building is hard to miss when traveling through the area.
Elements of Art is a short distance from the Hyde Museum, the Queensbury Hotel, and downtown
Glens Falls. During the summer months the distance is short enough to walk. Parking is also available on the Cooper Street side.

Driving Directions
From the South
Take I-87, the Northway, to Exit 17N, Route 9 North. Travel north on Route 9
to South Glens Falls / Glens Falls, about 5 miles. Cross bridge to Glens Falls
past the GF Civic Center. At the top of the hill stay in right lane to the
traffic light. Go straight through the light and take first right just past
the light. This is Ridge Road (Route 9L). Proceed to next light and turn right
onto Maple Street. Go about 4-5 blocks on Maple St. Turn left onto Cooper Street.
Elements of Art is in the 3 story brick building on
your right at the next intersection.
From the North
Take I-87, the Northway, to exit 19. Take Route 254 (Quaker Road) east toward Route 9 and Glens Falls.
From the intersection of Route 9 and Quaker Road, proceed east on Quaker Road about
2 miles to Ridge Road. Turn right onto Ridge Road and proceed about 1 mile to Dix Avenue.
Turn left onto Dix Avenue. Take the third (3rd) right by the Price Chopper Supermarket
onto Cooper Street. The next intersection is Lawrence and Cooper Streets.

From Rutland, VT
From Rutland, VT, take Route 4 west and south to NYS. Pass through NY towns of Whitehall,
Fort Ann, and Kingsbury. After Kingsbury continue toward Hudson Falls. Turn right onto
State Route 32. Proceed approximately 2 miles to Dix Avenue. Turn right onto Dix Avenue.
Go approximately 1.5 miles on Dix and turn left onto Cooper Street, just before the Price
Chopper. Proceed 1 block to the corner of Lawrence and Cooper Streets.
Elements of Art is in the 3 story brick building on your left.
From The Hyde Collection
From the museum parking lot, turn left onto Warren Street. Take first right onto Prospect
Street. Proceed 2 blocks and turn left onto Lawrence Street. Proceed 2 blocks more to the
corner of Lawrence and Cooper Streets. Elements of Art is in the
3 story brick building on your left.
From the Queensbury Hotel and Downtown Glens Falls
From the downtown area, follow Ridge Road north. One block north of the Queensbury Hotel,
turn right onto Lawrence Street. Continue 4 blocks to the intersection of Lawrence and
Cooper Streets. Elements of Art is in the 3 story brick building
on your right.
Parking
Parking lots are adjacent to the building
on either street. Some on-street parking is also available. Please use the
Cooper Street entrance.
Handicapped Access
Handicapped visitors should use the ramp off of the Lawrence Street parking area (by
loading dock). Turn left at the entrance and go through the archway toward the rear
of the building. Follow the corridor to the second archway heading back to the front
of the building. Our shop is directly thhrough this archway.
